HBR 0-4-0T Kitson 'K' Class well tank - one of six delivered between 1886-9 and numbered 43-48. Nicknamed 'Bug Crushers' by the crews, they were intended for use on the tight quayside curvatures of Alexandra Dock, Hull and all were based at the on-site loco depot. All withdrawn in August 1922 on the amalgamation of the H&BR with the NER.
