Perhaps this is an oddity, but ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' 61007 appears not only to have lost its 'Klipspringer' name, but seemingly never to have had one! The probability is, that a new smokebox has been fitted and the name removed in the process.
Certainly this smokebox shows no signs of a nameplate ever having been fitted and indeed a bit of research by Vic Smith reveals a SLS report - "Both nameplates were removed from Thompson Class B1 4-6-0 loco. 61007 (formerly Klipspringer) when out-shopped ex-Cowlairs Works in March 1962".
