Rebuilt ‘Patriot’ No. 45527 Southport approaching Warrington on the Down Fast in August 1964 when briefly allocated to Carlisle Upperby. To the left, in Arpley Yard can just be seen a Drewry 204bhp diesel shunter. It will be either No. D2391 or No. D2392, both of which worked there for just over a year leaving in November 1964.
