The tender has intermediate frames and 2818 only had a tender with these frames from around March 1961. Looking at the light patch (which is rust) on the smokebox this is after withdrawal when it was stored at Swindon Works. It was there from around October 1963 to December 1965. By early January 1966 it was at Eastleigh for restoration
