Loco had arrived on a running in turn from Crewe Works,after losing nameplates, so September 65 or May 66. The damaged DMU in the yard may help in providing a more accurate date.

Now established that the damaged DMU is a class 108 DTCL, M56226, which was photographed in that position on 15 April 1966, still attached to its power car. It was condemned in August 1966.
This would confirm the May 1966 date for the three 70010 colour images.
