Class Q1/1 No 9925 in the shed yard at Eastfield circa 1947. It carries the LNER totem on the bunker side. The class (of 13) had all been rebuilt from ex-GCR Class Q4 0-8-0s in 1942/3 by Thompson for shunting purposes.
No 9925 was the first of the class to be constructed. Later renumbered 69925 it was withdrawn from Eastfield in August 1954.
