LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45573 Newfoundland on an express passing Long Eaton in c1958. Ther Midland Railway signal box in the distance is North Erewash Junction with a level crossing, the bracket signal is very unusual and there is a wagon breakers to the right who have retained an ancient curved end PO for their internal use - there is a huge pile of buffers awaiting a trip to the iron works.
