LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45701 Conqueror recorded as with a Glasgow-Birmingham express at Scout Green in the 1950s. W39 was the train reporting number of the Manchester-Preston portion of the evening Lancashire Scotch in 1953, so probably running as a separate train here.
