This fine photograph was captured in July 1954 on CLC metals south of Ashley Station in Cheshire. Ex-Great Central Railway Robinson '11E' (LNER 'D10') 62658 'Prince George' with an Altrincham to Northwich working. 62656 will be withdrawn just over a year later in August 1955.
