LMS Princess Royal 4-6-2 No 46206 Princess Marie Louise beside KG V No 6000 in Shrewsbury station on 5 May 1952.

Peter Kerslake says "A splendid image from the northern end of Shrewsbury station with that distinctive water hose extending out for the use of engines standing on the through road occupied here by 46206 with another engine lurking behind.
"King George V" has worked to here on a "West to North" duty from its home at Bristol via the Severn Tunnel and 46206 could be ready to work its train forward to Crewe as Shrewsbury was the limit for Western Region engines and crew on such duties.
6000 would remain on these rosters for another five months when in October 1952 it was moved to Old Oak Common".
