LMS Princess Royal 4-6-2 No 46201 Princess Elizabeth with an Edinburgh Princes St-Glasgow Central local leaving Merchiston on Friday 9 September 1960. In 1962 there was a Saturday Only 13.25 Glasgow Central to Princes Street service used as a filling in turn and often produced pacifics (Brits and Duchesses) - I suspect this is a similar weekday service two years earlier.
