Passing gracefully under the newly erected catenary supports, the old order still reighns supreme in 1959. Ex-LMS Stanier Princess Royal No. 46208 'Princess Helena Victoria' with a down express at Chorlton Lane Bridge 72 (near Crewe). 46208 was built at Crewe in Aug. 1938 as LMS No. 6208 and was withdrawn in Oct. 1962.
