Watford EMU M75134 in the platform

Peter Kerslake says " This view of 46208 passing through Harrow and Wealdstone station shows the covered footbridge now restored some six years after part of it had been brought crashing down onto the platforms below in the dreadful crash which took place exactly here on the 8th . October of 1952.
On that fateful early morning " City of Glasgow " , running very late on the overnight sleeper from Scotland , ran through adverse signals and collided with a local stopping service just heading out of the Euston bound platform road with terrible fatal consequences , the resulting wreckage then being hit by the double headed early morning express from Euston to Liverpool and Manchester , both those engines being thrown into the air and bringing down a section of this footbridge. "
