The end of the line effectively came for 46210 Lady Patricia in March 1961 when it was transferred from Polmadie to Kingmoor, where it was placed in store. This picture was taken on 29th August 1961 less than six weeks before the engine was officially withdrawn during the week ending 7th October. It had acquired a plain bearing pony truck originally fitted to one of the 6203 - 6207 series and had been fitted with a Smith-Stone speed recorder in September 1957 but never received AWS.
