Double heading eastwards from Newton Abbot along the sea wall was not too usual , and Bristol Bath Road's very grubby 6954 Lotherton Hall is doubtless heading back to Bristol as pilot to a another Hall with the lamps indicating this is an empty stock or express parcels duty .
The sea wall is deserted, but there is no sign of any sun and track renewal work is clearly in progress.
