Formerly allocated to London's Old Oak Common Depot in happier times , 7904 , " Fountains Hall " makes the usual stop at the eastern end of Gloucester Central with a freight from the South Wales line , and there may well be a change of crew taking place here , as was often the custom .
The coal in the tender looks rather poor and with a missing nameplate 7904 reflects the general signs of neglect all too apparent at that time , but as the months passed it steadily worsened until December of that year when it all finally came to an end.
