6121 1938c Llandudno Junction

LMS Royal Scot 4-6-0 No 46121 H.L.I. at Llandudno Junction in the late-1930s on a Down express, with a fully coaled tender.
The east corner of the 1898 mock-Tudor style Station Hotel is visible in front of loco.
Probably taken in 1938 after removal of the cross head vacuum pump which most likely occurred at an HS repair in March 1938. The post 1936 yellow shaded vermilion insignia appear to have been applied.
