To avoid confusion, Dublin's Connolly Station is also named as Amiens Street. Having clarified that point, here's smart Great Northern Railway (Ireland) George Glover 'V' class compound 4-4-0 No. 83 'Eagle' at Connolly Station in the 1930s. This fine-looking machine was one of five built by Beyer Peacock in 1932 and withdrawn in 1960. They were all named after birds of prey.
