Rebuilt Duke class 4-4-0 No 3265 Tre Pol and Pen at Abermule in the down platform presumably with a Whitchurch - Oswestry - Aberystwyth stopper in c1938, (this was the prototype Dukedog).

Peter Kerslake adds "3265 had been rebuilt at Swindon in 1929 using the boiler, cab and fittings from Duke 3265 and the frames of Bulldog 3365 and lasted until December 1949."
