Peter Kerslake says "A lovely portrait of Machynlleth shed's 9013, going back to when these engines worked regularly on the Cambrian Coast services before they were displaced by the Manors. A number of these Dukedogs subsequently went into store in Swindon Works Stock Shed as suitable alternative work for the class was no longer available."
