9017 1958-04-20 Andoversford

GWR Dukedog 4-4-0 No 9017 near Andoversford en-route from Windsor to the Forest of Dean with the 'Severn Rambler' rail tour on April 20, 1958.

Peter Kerslake says "The only member of its class to be preserved 9017 was withdrawn from Oswestry in October 1960 and happily is still with us today.
Built using the frames from "Bulldog" 3425 and the boiler and cab from "Duke" 3282 "Chepstow Castle" it was initially numbered 3217".
