The impressive location of Folkestone Warren sees ex-Southern Railway Maunsell 'Schools' No. 30928 'Stowe' leaving Martello Tunnel with a down express in July 1949. It appears to be still in the SR's Malachite Green livery but with BR numerals and insignia. 30928 was built at Eastleigh in June 1934 as SR No. 928 and was withdrawn in Nov. 1962.
