6004 1956 Plymouth
A sparkling 6004 sets off from Plymouth with the 8.30.a.m. to Paddington past the site of the old Mutley station and with the Royal Eye Hospital in the background. 6004 came to Laira in March, 1954 from Wolverhampton Stafford Road in exchange for Laira's 6014, the last blue "King" whch was then used on the Paddington to Wolverhampton main line for water softening tests following overhaul at Swindon.
