An unusual view of the branch terminus. The 14xx was only at Gloucester from the end of 1963 until October 1964 - this looks like autumn to me.
Sadly the former service from Berkeley Road to Lydney terminated here at Sharpness after the destruction of the bridge across the Severn during the night of the 25th. October 1960 and 1444 met a sad end as well as it apparently broke a driving axle on this service, ending its career at Gloucester Motive Power Depot.
