Q7 No 63469 received its final general overhaul in late 1959 but was back for attention at Darlington works six months later in May 1960, with what appears to be cylinder problems. It has also become remarkably grimy in such a short period after repainting. Two further works visits would take place before final withdrawal in December 1962.
