Oswestry Shed 1960-06-04
A general view of a quiet Oswestry Motive Power Depot with the original and larger four road section on the left, dating back to the days of the Oswestry and Newtown Railway in 1866, with the smaller two road addition on the right added some years later by the Cambrian Railways.
Substantial renovations were carried out to the depot in 1949 by the Western Region, confirming the location's importance.
