Ex-Great Eastern Railway J. Holden 'Rebuilt 'T19' (LNER 'D13') class 4-4-0 No. 8016. Built at Stratford in February 1906 as GER No. 1016 and withdrawn in May 1938.

A superb and striking night exposure taken at Liverpool Street Station in March 1935. The crew have (just about) managed to keep still during the time exposure and the result is a minor gem. The elegant LNER cabside numerals are particularly clear in this wondeful image.
