WLLR 0-6-0T No. 822 with a goods train including four loaded cattle wagons returning to Welshpool at Castle Caereinion on 10th September 1951. This was around half-way between Welshpool and Llanfair. It had a passing loop and the small signal box shown in this picture, but it had fallen into disuse by the 1930s and ground frames were installed to work the loop as a siding.
