Carrying a 6J Holyhead shed plate I think this was taken about 1956-57 when 70045 was first at Holyhead. The front step has been modified (3/56) but no nameplates (fitted 1957) and no AWS which was added in 1959.

Later the top lamp bracket repositioned in 1963. Had lost nameplates by June 1965.
Loco fitted with oval buffers in 1966.
