Britannia 70049 runs through Platform 2 with an Up Parcels during 1967. It is complete with a painted wooden smokebox numberplate but no attempt to re-instate its Solway Firth nameplates has been made. Furthermore, Kingmoor have not even bothered to paint their 12A shed code onto the smokebox door. The wall on the right was the original support to the L&NWR carriage shed, its roof long gone. The four roads were still used for stabling carriage stock and, by this date, DMUs.
