David made a special trip to Doncaster and Sheffield to see the Directors based there. They were still in winter storage - he never photographed one working.
62670 had been in store from May 1959 and remained so until October being withdrawn in November 1960. It was quickly despatched to Doncaster Works and was last reported complete on 20th November.
