Ex-Great Central Railway Robinson '11F' (LNER 'D11') class 4-4-0 No. 62669 'Ypres' (pilot). Built at Gorton in December 1922 as GCR No. 305 and withdrawn in August 1960. LMS designed Ivatt '2MT' class 2-6-2 Tank No. 41235 (train). Built at Crewe in August 1949 and withdrawn in November 1962.

Under the 1500 volt DC catenary at Altrincham in Cheshire is the double-headed combo of 62669 and 41235, seen in July 1954.
