Ex-Great Central Railway Robinson '11F' (LNER 'D11/1') class 4-4-0 No. 62669 'Ypres'. Built at Gorton in December 1922 as GCR No. 505 and withdrawn in August 1960.

This fine Robinson class of 35 4-4-0s were built by the GCR and also after grouping for the LNER. The LNER versions ('D11/2') were modified to the reduced Scottish loading gauge. 62669 is on former CLC metals in April 1954 approaching Hale in Cheshire with an up train for Manchester.
