How the mighty are fallen! Seen at her 'home' shed, Lincoln St. Marks MPD in July 1954 is ex-Great Central Railway Robinson '11F' (LNER 'D11') 62667 'Somme'. These 'D11s' were once pride of the GCR and themagnificent GCR livery has been replaced by a woebegone coating of grime, grease and dirt. Nevertheless. it has another six years of service ahead until withdrawal in August 1960.
