Bolton MPD sees ex-L&YR Aspinall '2P' Tank 50731 to the fore. No less than 310 of these long-lived locomotives were built. Many, like 50731 seeing some sixty years in service. LMS Fowler '7F' 49544 and a crew member also sneak into the shot! This photo is dated September 1955.
