LMS 10798 is an ex-Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Aspinall '2P' class 2-4-2 Tank of 1898. It is facing east adjacent to the water tank at Wakefield Kirkgate Station in 1945. These stalwart 2-4-2s were used for 'local' stopping trains in the Calder Valley for many years into the late 1950s. 10798 was withdrawn in May 1950 as BR No. 50798
