At Marfleet Station, Hull, E. Yorks., on Friday, 18th March 1966, ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' class 4-6-0 No. 61002 Impala, built at Darlington in September 1943 as LNER No. 1002, was working a pick-up goods. Marfleet Station (ex-NER) was part of the Withernsea branch from Hull, which opened in June 1854 and closed to passengers in October 1964 and freight in May 1972.
