Well and truly 'bulled up', ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' 4-6-0 No. 61031 'Reedbuck' is portrayed under York MPD's coaling tower in May 1964. It had been prepared (hinge rivets and all!) for the RCTS 'North Eastern Limited' railtour from York to Middlesbrough via Whitby. 61031 was built at Darlington in Sept. 1947 as LNER No. 1031 and was withdrawn in Nov. 1964.
