8102 1963-05-17 Severn Beach

Peter Kerslake says "Severn Beach was, and still is, a remote hamlet on the line from Avonmouth, that line originally joining the main South Wales route at Pilning Junction and providing a circular route to, and from Temple Meads until that link was closed in 1968 with Severn Beach today beng the "end of the line" from Avonmouth and Bristol.
This is a rake of empty oil tank wagons arriving at Severn Beach from the Pilning direction.
There is a brake van between the engine and the leading wagon, probably bound for Avonmouth Docks."
