Peter Kerslake says "In the evening sunlight 8576's driver does a bit of oiling round before departing on their next duty. 8576 was the sixth of ten B12s ordered by the LNER from Beyer Peacock in 1928 to supplement the 71 built by the Great Eastern Railway."
