Peter Kerslake says "Heacham would have been the last stop before the end of the line from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton on the North Norfolk coast and 61516 must have been a good one for she was the third oldest of of the very early members of her class when recorded here in 1957.
Allocated to Kings Lynn 61516 was built by the Great Eastern Railway in or about 1910, passing into L.N.E.R. ownership in 1923 and the to B.R. in 1948.
