The undulating hills in the background are characteristic of the Scottish countryside around Perth. BR Class 24 Bo-Bo diesel No. D5126 rolls into the city in July 1965 with an express from the south. Behind it is a wealth of railway infrastructure to evoke nostalgic delight! There is even a sign for Boots Agricultural Products - a division I think they sold to ICI. D5126 was built at Derby in July 1960 and was withdrawn in Feb. 1976 as TOPS No. 24126.
