The splendid sight of an immaculate green-liveried Deltic 'The Black Watch' in full flight. It is bearing the iconic thistle emblem and is leaving York in May 1964 with the up 'Flying Scotsman' having just passed under Holgate Road bridge. D9013 was built by English Electric Vulcan Foundry in Sept. 1961 and was withdrawn in Dec. 1981 as TOPS No. 55013.
