Peter kerslake says "A very early shot of 5569 from about 1949 when she was on the Cambrian network, but by the mid 1950's this locomotive was allocated to Plymouth's Laira Depot from where she was a regular on the Tavistock and Launceston branch line services .
These "45XX" class tank engines were limited in what duties they could be rostered upon within the Cambrian network as their water capacity proved inadequate for the longer runs, restricting them to short local services so perhaps this is why 5569 did not remain on Cambrian lines"
