Discarded. Withdrawn off Trafford Park and dumped there for 6 months before being sold to Cashmore's Newport. The loco was held at Shrewsbury Concentration sidings (near Sutton Bridge Junction) en-route but arrived at Newport on 8th March according to official sources (the RCTS reported a little earlier). It was observed for the last time in Cashmores on 14th March 1968
