A goodly selection of LMS or LMS designed locomotives are on display at the former Midland Railway's Green Ayre MPD in Lancaster. The electric catenary of the Heysham-Morecambe-Lancaster route (electrified in 1908) can be seen on the left with Green Ayre Station seen (just!) in the smoky haze behind 43012.
