Fresh out of the Doncaster paintshop and newly named, No ‘60154 Bon Accord’, one of the roller bearing-fitted A1’s prepares to be turned on the triangle at Doncaster shed in April 1951. Many of this class ran nameless whilst carrying BR blue livery. No 60154 had a short career of just over 16 years; released to traffic on 23rd September 1949 and condemned on 4th October 1965, subsequently being broken up by a private contractor, T W Ward.
