Emerging on an unrecorded 1960s date from the north portal of Stoke Tunnel in Lincolnshire, is BR Peppercorn 'A1' 4-6-2 No. 60134 'Foxhunter' with a down express. Stoke Tunnel is 880 yards in length and the north portal is 101 miles north of King's Cross. Its first accident was in December 1853 within a year of its opening. 60134 was built at Darlington in Nov. 1948 and withdrawal came in Oct. 1965
