9332 1938-08-04 Edinburgh Haymarket MPD

Ex-North British Railway Reid 'K' (LNER 'D33') class 4-4-0 No. 9332. Built at Cowlairs in December 1909 as NBR No. 332 and withdrawn in June 1951 as BR No. 62461.

The only significant changes between the 'D33s' from 1909-10 and the 'D34 or 'Glen' class built 1913-20 was superheating and the driving wheel diameter. Only a dozen 'D33s' were built and none received names. 'Hyndland' as shown on the smokebox destination board, is a suburb on the western side of Glasgow.
