This freight, hauled by No 9270, is believed to be the 5.25am Toton to Sudbury, due to pass Tring at 11.55am. The passenger train would therefore be the 11.30 from Euston to Wolverhampton headed by a Patriot 4-6-0 due to pass Tring at 12.05pm. An XL load limit booking of 1hr 55minutes to Birmingham with one stop at Coventry. The normal load being 278 tons rising to 340 on Mondays and 371 on Saturdays. The WTT says says that a Royal Scot is allowed 400 tons on this booking and a Class 5x allowed 330 tons.
